Our Story
As they say, the eye is the window of the body. Quality eye health leads to quality general health. Unfortunately, most of the blindness in the world is avoidable. According to the IAPD, avoidable blindness which is blindness that could be prevented or treated makes up nearly 75% of the world’s blindness cases.
Inspired by her mother’s nursing profession, Dr. Immaculata Atumonye decided to be in a position where she will use her expertise to bring comfort to people.
Dr(Mrs) Immaculata, having acquired her Doctor of optometry (OD) degree from Abia state university in 2005 founded Immalik eye care in 2015.
Her goal has remained to grow a public-friendly eye clinic with the zeal to help people with any eye challenge while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Our Optometry Doctors
Dr. Immaculata Atumonye
Optometrist
Dr. Atumonye Immaculata founded Immalik eyecare in February 2015. She acquired her Doctor of optometry (OD) degree from Abia state university Uturu, Okigwe in 2005. She is a certified member of the Nigeria optometric association (MNOA). She has served in many eye clinics as a consulting optometrist, done many outreach programs, and attended many seminars and conferences.
Dr. Okpara Victor
Optometrist
Dr. Okpara is an optometrist with over 17 years of experience in eyecare practice and 11 years of experience in ocularistry. He is happily married. With a Certificate in ocularistry from Lions Aravind institute of community ophthalmology, Madurai India- 2011 and a Doctor of optometry from Imo State University, Owerri- 2007, Dr. Okpara is the founder of The Ocularist.
